What are the differences between the Corduroy and Solid Collection?
Our Corduroy items are reversible. They have a corduroy (ribbed) side that makes the products more suited to wear underneath your regular clothing. The other side has a print to it, to highlight your wild side ;). We provide the following colors:
Corduroy White - matched with the print Monkey business (with green leaves) Corduroy Dark blue - matched with the print Monkey business (with dark blue leaves) Corduroy Light blue - matched with the print Leopard (with an orange background) Corduroy Red - matched with the print Leopard (with a pink background)
Our Solid collection is not reversible. These items are suitable for a more basic beach look and comes in the following colors: red, black and white.
Which size should I choose?
Our products are true to size for Dutch/German sizes, so you can order the size you usually wear. Deviations from the size are mentioned in the product information in our shop. Can I buy a bikini top and bottom separately, even though they are pictured together?
YES! We love for you to mix and match and pick whatever style you like. You prefer an Abi bottom with a Lottie top? Good for you! If you like to buy a Corduroy Midnight Blue with a Corduroy Red, fine as well. Just keep in mind that our colors are matched with their own patterns, so if you buy different colors, the patterns might not match. However, whatever you wish to buy – it’s up to you!

I have seen an item on the website and now it no longer appears. Do items come back in stock?
Unfortunately not. We work with limited amounts of items, for a more personal experience.
Delivery
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom and France. If your country is not listed here, contact us at service@barbarossabay.com and we can see if we can help you out.
Does Barbarossa Bay ship to Post Office boxes?
No, we do not. We only ship to office or residency addresses.
Does Barbarossa Bay ship to multiple addresses?
Unfortunately, you may only ship to one address per order. If your order contains gifts or items that require shipping to multiple locations, you will need to place separate orders for each address.
Does Barbarossa Bay offer gift wrapping services?
We do not on our website, but send us an e-mail in advance before ordering your items and we can see if we can help you out!
How soon can I get my order?
Order before 12pm (CEST/UTC/GMT +2) to receive your order within 1-3 working days.
How much shipment costs does Barbarossa Bay charge ?
If you’re order ships to an address within the Netherlands and fits through a mailbox, we charge you €3,90 for shipment costs. If you place a large order that does not fit through a mailbox we charge €6,95.
If the country of your delivery address is not listed, please contact us and we can see if we can help you out!
My shipping address is incorrect on my order, how can I change this?
Let us know as soon as possible with an email to service@barbarossabay.com because we aim to process your order quickly. We cannot change the destination of packages that have already been shipped.
Returns
Can I return or exchange my order?
We really like you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, because we love for you to have a lovely experience when wearing our products. However if that is not the case or if you have changed your mind about an item purchased on Barbarossabay.com, you are entitled to an exchange or refund within 14 days of receipt.
However, your return must meet the below requirements:
- Proof of purchase provided;
- Tags attached;
- Garment in original condition, unworn and unwashed;
- Please make sure that swimwear is tried on over your own underwear. In the interests of hygiene, we may refuse returns of items where it's obvious that this hasn't been done;
- Returns Form enclosed in returns package.
Unfortunately we do not accept exchange requests. If you wish to receive another item, please return the item(s) from your original order for refund and place a new order.
Who pays for my return postage?
At Barbarossa Bay we do not offer free returns. We are a very young company and this is a service we cannot provide to you yet. We also like our customers to be conscious when ordering products and ask you not to order multiple items in multiple sizes, so you can return items later that you do not wish to use. This is because we really like to put a minimal strain on the environment. How can I return an item?
Send an e-mail to returns@barbarossabay.com. You must provide your order number (found on your order confirmation email), reason for returning your item(s), and your details. Once you have created your Return Post Label, take note of your return reference number.
Pack all items you wish to return with a complete Returns Form in a satchel, or reuse the original packaging if suitable, and secure the returns label to the outside of the package. Remember to remove any old postage labels if reusing the original packaging.
